Alice

Alice, Texas is the seat of Jim Wells County. Founded over 100 years ago, the town is named after the daughter of Captain Richard King, one of the founders of the King Ranch. It became the world's largest cattle shipping points in the late 1800's and after oil was discovered in the 1930's, Alice became the hub for over 200 oil & petroleum operations.
